PRIZES AND AWARDS

The Organizing Committee of the XIth International Ballet Competition and the Contest of Choreographers announces the following awards:
Marina Semenova Grand Prix (dedicated to the 100-anniversary since birth of the great ballet star) in the amount of USD 10000, Gold Medal and title of Laureate (regardless of the age division).

First Prize- $5’000, Gold Medal and the title of Laureate
Second Prize- $4’000, Silver Medal and the title of Laureate
Third Prize- $3’000, Bronze Medal and the title of Laureate
BOYS
First Prize- $5’000, Gold Medal and the title of Laureate
Second Prize- $4’000, Silver Medal and the title of Laureate
Third Prize- $ 3’000, Bronze Medal and the title of Laureate
DUET

Finalists who are not awarded the above mentioned medals, will be granted diplomas, the title of Diploma Holder and Monetary Awards of $1’000 each.

CHOREOGRAPHERS
First Prize- $ 8’000, Gold Medal and the title of Laureate
Second Prize- $ 6’000, Silver Medal and the title of Laureate
Third Prize- $ 4’000, Bronze Medal and the title of Laureate

In addition to the above prizes, three diplomas also shall be granted to choreographers, together with the title of Diploma Holder and Monetary Awards of $ 1’000 each.

SPECIAL PRIZES
Prize and Diploma of the International Choreography Union.

Prize awarded by “BALLET” magazine to a coach for the high artistic level of his/ her work with contestant.

Monetary Prize of USD 1000 and Diploma to best partner (in Senior Division).

Monetary Prize of USD 1000 and Diploma to best partner (in Junior Division).

Governmental and public organizations, companies and private persons may arrange to award special prizes, with the consent of the Competition Board.

Monetary prizes to Laureates and Diploma Holders of the XI International Ballet Competition and Contest of Choreographers will be paid in rubles after withholding of income tax in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The governing Rules for the Competition and the Contest are in the Russian language. Though translations are provided for the convenience of participants, in the event that any disputes arise with respect to interpretation of the Rules, the Russian text shall govern their resolution.

In the event of disputes that may occur in respect of the present Rules of the XI International Ballet Competition and Contest of Choreographers only Russian variant shall be considered valid.
